Screenwriter, novelist, and journalist.
After completing his schooling, Greg Flynn joined the Western Australian afternoon newspaper The Daily News as a cadet reporter, and later pursued a career as a journalist in both Australia and the United Kingdom. In the mid-1980s, he began writing film scripts for the Yoram Gross Film Studio in Sydney. His writing credits include the animated features Dot and the Koala (1985) and Dot and the Smugglers (1987). He was also engaged as production coordinator for Dot and the Whale (1986).
In the early 1990s, Flynn moved into the area of public relations (where his clients have included Microsoft, Citibank, and Unilever), before publishing his first novel, The Berlin Cross, in 2005.
