Harry Wallis was educated at Fort Street Boys High School and Sydney Technical College. He worked in real estate and property management and served in the AIF in the Middle East and New Guinea from 1940-1945. He lived in the Wellington area in New South Wales and was published in the Bulletin, (Brisbane) Courier Mail and Smith's Weekly amongst others.
