BiographyHistory

'Dr Bronwyn Cran taught Professional Writing, specialising in Creative Writing and Journalism, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Victoria University, Melbourne. She is both a creative writer (novelist) and a former journalist, having worked for The Age and The Melbourne Times, for commercial radio in Adelaide and for indigenous media in Alice Springs.

Her research interests include: contemporary Australian fiction, particularly political, comic and women's fiction; contemporary Australian and international journalism, particularly literary (creative non-fiction) journalism; online media; postcolonial and feminist literary theory.'
