BiographyHistory

Power was a journalist with Smith's Weekly in Brisbane, then a publicity officer at an Australian theatre company's head office in Sydney. He edited the revised edition of Noel Barber's war research book How Strong Is Japan? (1942).

According to ABC Weekly, when they reported on his radio play Whom the Gods Would Destroy, he was officially Australia's youngest soldier during World War I, when he was fifteen and a half.
