BiographyHistory

Mariano Coreno attended a secondary school in Pontecorvo but finished his studies in Australia gaining his Higher School Certificate. He then studied English and worked as a relay adjuster. He has participated in several literary competitions in Italy and Australia and has been awarded silver and bronze medals. In 1965, encouraged by poet Judith Wright, he began composing poems in English.
