BiographyHistory

May is a writer and actor who graduated in Drama from the University of Melbourne in 1985. Since then he has written for community groups and independent theatre while continuing to work as an actor in theatre, film and television. His plays have been read at the Seymour Centre, Anthill and the ANPC. Performances include Bare Friends at the Universal (1991), Diplomacy on Coconut Island at Theatreworks (1997) and Buckley's Chance & None at the Carlton Courthouse (1994). The Victor was nominated for the Wal Cherry Award in 1995 and 1996, and No Prophet, No Angel was highly commended in the 1995 Playbox Asialink Playwriting Competition.
