BiographyHistory

Journalist, ornithologist and encyclopaedist, Alec H. Chisholm was editor-in-chief of the Australian Encyclopaedia (1958). Other books edited by Chisholm include E. J. Banfield's Last Leaves from Dunk Island (1925) and Who's Who in Australia (1947). He also edited the periodicals, The Argus, The Australasian (1937-1938) and the Victorian Naturalist (1939-1948).
