BiographyHistory

Although born in London, Robert Verdon spent his early years in Wales, before migrating with his parents to Australia. He has an Honours Degree in English from Deakin University and has been Deputy Chair and Literary Editor of Muse magazine as well as a member of the Canberra Times Critics' Circle, the Australian Society of Authors, the Canberra Society of Editors and the ACT Writers Centre. Verdon has been a member of the layout and editing team at Aberrant Genotype Press in Canberra. He was a finalist for the Anutech Prize in 1994 and 1998.
