Professor of English and Head of the School of English, Journalism and European Languages (2010) at the University of Tasmania, Ralph Crane has published widely on Anglo-Indian (Raj) fiction and Indian-English fiction.
His Island Story: Tasmania in Object and Text (with Danielle Wood) was longlisted for the Tasmania Book Prize in 2019.
