BiographyHistory

Kaye Aldenhoven moved from South Australia to Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory in 1971. She has since lived and taught in a number of places across the Northern Territory.

She has read her poems on ABC radio, and in live performance and has collaborated on projects with writers and visual artists, including a joint exhibition/performance, 'Beyond Words'. She was mentored by poet Chris Mansell in 1999. Her work has been published in various journals, and is regularly featured in the Northern Territory Literary Awards.

She is the author of three collections of poetry, the most recent Botanica Erotica (2012).
