BiographyHistory

Christine Bonwick trained as a nurse at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in 1913. During World War I, she enlisted in the Australian Army Nursing Service, and subsequently served in British military hospitals in Salonika. In later years she regularly travelled overseas to give nursing assistance at various Save the Children's Camps.
