BiographyHistory

Bernard Ingleby was educated at St Peters College Adelaide and subsequently entered journalism. He lived for some years in New Zealand before settling in Sydney. Ingleby was a leading member of the Australian Labor Party, and President of the Prahan branch. He was the founder of the Ingleby Press Agency which was first established in Melbourne and later transferred to Sydney.
