BiographyHistory

Wife, and mother of seven children, Pauline Wardleworth is a Double Certificated trained nurse. She has worked at Calvary Hospital, North Adelaide and has worked in Midwifery, Casualty and Operating Theatres. She began writing in 1965, and in 1984 published her first volume of verse. At one time she was treasurer of the SA Poets' Union,and in 1985 she co-edited the No. 9 Friendly Street Poetry Reader with Graham Rowlands. Wardleworth moved from South Australia to live in Stawell, Victoria.
