BiographyHistory

Helen Barrett is the daughter of Stan Barrett and great-great niece of Hannah Fry (qv). She has worked in publishing (Juke Magazine, Thomas Nelson, Hughes Satchwell & Assoc, Buckley & Nunn) and for various businesses (See Who's Who of Australian Writers), taught at Presbyterian Girls' College (now Seymour College) 1961-5, and been a freelance journalist for a number of Australian publications. She has also contributed to journals overseas. She lives in Beaumont, SA.
