BiographyHistory

Born and educated in Cordoba, Argentina, Reyna worked in freelance journalism. After arriving in Australia in 1986, she became a member of the Spanish Speaking Education Committee, for the introduction of the Spanish language as a school subject. She has been active in broadcasting on radio for both Latin-American and Multicultural programmes. She was awarded second prize in a Literacy Competition conducted by Latin American Alive (Canberra) and third prize in the Popular Poetry Competition conducted by the Latin-American Group. She has participated in several public readings in Brisbane, including the Fringe Festival and Wordfest Programmes.
