BiographyHistory

Sal Brereton was part of the poetic boom in the 1970s along with other Sydney-based poets including Pam Brown and Laurie Duggan. She edited Magic Sam, the poetry magazine, between 1975 and 1982, with Brown, Anna Couani and Ken Bolton.
