BiographyHistory

Philip Ayres has taught at the University of Adelaide, and has been Visiting Professor at Vassar College and Boston University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, London and of the Australian Academy of the Humanities. He has been  Associate Professor and Head of English Literature at Monash University and deputy chairman of the Literature Board of the Australia Council.
