BiographyHistory

Joan Morrison is a fourth generation Australian, of Scottish descent, who has lived most of her life in Queensland. She has worked as a teacher, clerk, dressmaker, shopkeeper and writer. She lived for some years in New Guinea, then at the Gold Coast in Queensland.

Her chief interest is in medieval history. She has also written a genealogical work called A Philp History, 1785-1985.
