BiographyHistory

A Sydney-based poet, Dawn Bruce was a teacher before turning to writing on a full-time basis. The coordinator of Somerset Poets for five years, Bruce has since facilitated creative writing workshops. Her work has appeared in numerous publications and won various poetry awards. Bruce's first collection of 'free verse and haiku', Stinging the Silence, was published in 2002.
