Notes

  • In 2011, the Victorian Year 12 English examination included an edited version of a 2010 column on tattoos, written by Razer. The exam paper attributed the column to the 'part-time journalist and blogger Helen Day'. This mis-attribution led to a series of newspaper articles and correspondence about the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority failing to meet its own standards in relation to copyright and plagiarism. See, for instance, the Age, 10 November 2011.

y separately published work icon The Helen One Hundred The Helen 100 Crows Nest : Allen and Unwin , 2017 10406738 2017 single work autobiography

'An hilarious and no-holds-barred account of dating with an attitude of minimum expectation and maximum respect.

After the break-up of a 15-year relationship, journalist, writer and broadcaster Helen Razer decided to set herself a task to get over her grief and start living her life again: to go on 100 dates between Feb 2013 and the end of that year. The Helen One Hundred is her disarmingly frank and no-holds-barred account of those dates and what happens at the end of them. Will she be over her ex? Will she have met her true love? Will she have had fun and got herself back on track after her heartbreak? All will be revealed in The Helen One Hundred, a brilliant idea written in Helen's trademark hilarious, revealing and self deprecating style.' (Publication summary)
