BiographyHistory

R. G. Jennings was educated at Cumloden, St. Kilda and St. Peter's College, Adelaide. He was the master of Queen's School, Adelaide and Melbourne Grammar School, and later Geelong Grammar School from 1914 onwards. Jennings made two trips to the United Kingdom, visiting in 1908 and 1923.

Much of Jennings' fiction reflected his experiences in the Australian education system. In addition to writing his novel, play and short stories, Jennings also contributed to educational journals and newspapers in Australia.
