BiographyHistory

Eva Manning was educated at Ascham School, Darling Point, New South Wales, and then in Wales and France. She returned to Australia in 1907 and, from 1908 to 1919, taught at the Glennie Memorial School, Toowoomba, Queensland. She spent some time in England before going back to Glennie Memorial as Acting Principal in 1921. In 1922 Manning again went to England. From that time until her retirement in 1941 she worked as Housemistress at the Godolphin School in Salisbury.
