Margitt Lehbert did her undergraduate work at the University of Kontanz, Germany, and holds an M.F.A. in translation from the University of Iowa. She has contributed to APR, Ploughshares, Chelsea, Poetry Review, and other journals, and has published German translations of poetry books by Les Murray and Carol Ann Duffy, as well as Winter Music, selected poems of Sarah Kirsch (Anvil Press 1994). Work occasionally published in Quadrant.
