BiographyHistory

George Patterson was an advertising entrepreneur and businessman who 'actively supervised the advertising pages' of The Home : An Australian Quarterly from the journal's inception in 1920 until 1925. While Patterson relinquished 'personal control' of the journal's advertising content, he maintained his 'long association with the publications of Art in Australia' by continuing to work 'in a consultative capacity, as Director of Advertising'.
