BiographyHistory

Rory Steele was educated in Australia, Italy and England. He served in the Australian diplomatic service from 1969 in Ghana, Korea, Egypt, Switzerland and as the Australian Ambassador to Iraq. In 2000, he completed an abassadorial posting to Italy and now lives in Canberra.
