Although born in Ireland, Nora Dugon was educated in Sydney.She returned to Ireland and Europe for two years in 1948 before marrying an Englishman in Australia and settling on the Coomera River in the hinterland of the Gold Coast, Queensland.
She has written primarily for radio, as Nora Shaw, and has had short stories published in anthologies and literary magazines.
