William Fraser has lived in Victoria and has been writing since the 1970s. His short stories were published in various Australian newspapers and literary journals. Apart from Blood, he has also written the plays 'Yukatori Rising' (performed by the NSW Western Regional Theatre Company in Lithgow, Parkes and Forbes, NSW) and 'Polyphase Refrain'.
