BiographyHistory

Anthony Lynch was born in Geelong and studied at Deakin University and the University of Melbourne. A writer of fiction and poetry, since 2006 he has also been a frequent reviewer for Australian Book Review. His work has appeared in anthologies and journals in Australia as well as in the USA and the United Kingdom, been broadcast on ABC Radio National, and adapted for short film.

Lynch has worked as an editor in commercial publishing and in various tertiary education publishing units, most recently with Deakin University. In 2003 he established Whitmore Press (www.whitmorepress.com/), publishers of poetry and the literary annual Space: New Writing, for which he served as editor. He has resided on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria. (Biography provided by author).
