BiographyHistory

A member of a prominent New South Wales Jewish family, Caroline Levi Montefiore was probably the daughter of Jacob Levi Montefiore. She wrote short fiction and essays - some of the latter, originally published in the Sydney Morning Herald, were collected as A Plea for a Simpler Life and Other Papers (Sydney: World Printing and Publishing Co., 1903).
