BiographyHistory

Mary Gage received an MA from Cambridge University. She is a former journalist with The Times in London.
Gage arrived in Australia in 1971 and settled in Darlington, a hill-side suburb of Perth, Western Australia. She was the Playwright-in-Residence at the Perth Playhouse Theatre in 1979 and won the Western Australian 150th Anniversary Playwrights' Award in that year.
