BiographyHistory

Roy Connolly was a Queensland journalist and writer. He initially worked at The Gympie Miner, and then a number of other country and Brisbane newspapers. He subsequently moved to Sydney, where he worked at The Sunday Guardian, The News of the World, and The Daily Mail (which he edited). In the early 1930's he visited Britain, where he remained for a number of years. He returned to Brisbane in the late 1930s, and then worked at The Courier-Mail.
