Karyn Sassella is a poet and community development worker. She has worked across many arts, health, humanitarian and development organizations in Australia and internationally. She has been awarded five Northern Territory Government Literary Awards for poetry and two Commonwealth Government awards for her humanitarian work in Kosovo and East Timor.
