BiographyHistory

Australian Penny Sumner moved to England as a postgraduate student. She undertook a D.Phil. at Oxford and then took up residence at Newcastle-Upon-Tyne where she began teaching creative writing and contemporary literature at the University of Northumbria. She has written novels and short stories. Her book, I Murdered Him, Too was shortlisted for the Crime Writers' Association Short Story Dagger Award.
