BiographyHistory

Jo-ann McMeekin was born in Fremantle. She attended Curtin University where she directed numerous theatre productions and wrote her first novel, The Autumn Tree, under the supervision of Elizabeth Jolley (q.v.). She lived in London during the 1990s. (From the author's biography in The Autumn Tree, 1993).
