BiographyHistory

Claire Maree was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Western Australia and both Master's and Doctor of Philosophy degrees at Tokyo University, Japan. As a resident in Tokyo, Maree has translated fiction and non-fiction from Japanese into English and has worked as a lecturer at Tsuda College. Her works 'Sometimes' and 'Pooh Bear Sat Eating Her Honey' appeared in issue 50 of Common Lives/Lesbian Lives.
