BiographyHistory

Catherine Hoffmann attended Monash University and has worked in libraries, as a teacher and as a trainee botanist. Hoffmann began writing in 1967 and has written chiefly short stories and novels. Her short stories have appeared in Inprint, Matilda, Overland and the Bulletin Literary Supplement. She has also published Perilous Journey (1981), a series of interviews with terminally ill patients.
