BiographyHistory

Jairo Vanegas has worked as a teacher, in both Colombia and Australia, and for Australia Post. He has held membership of PEN International, the Fellowship of Australian Writers, and Germinal Group (Spanish). His short stories have won prizes in Victoria (1991). In 1992 he received a Literature Grant from the Ministry for the Arts.
