BiographyHistory

Besides his poetry chapbooks, D. J. Huppatz has published articles and reviews on contemporary art, catalogue essays, book reviews, poetry and fiction in, among others, literary journals, such as Frieze, Tinfish, Aught, Heat, Meanjin, Southerly, Overland, Cordite, Ulitarra and Blast. He completed, in 1993, a BA at the Australian National University and a Masters Degree in Critical Theory at Monash University in 1996.

In 1998 he co-founded Textbase which is an collaborative project, based in Melbourne, that encompasses both a writing collective and visual arts projects. He has lectured in Design History and Critical Theory at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne.
