Notes

  • While it is possible this agent was either the wife or daughter of Lionel Lindsay (q.v.), as both women went by the name Jean Lindsay, the December 1923 issue of The Home contains evidence which suggests that the indexed poems were written by the younger Lindsay (born 1904). This issue of the journal contains a full-page portrait of Jean Lindsay which is accompanied by the following caption: 'Jean, daughter of Mr and Mrs Lionel Lindsay, Burns Road, Wahroonga, Sydney. Miss Lindsay is a youthful writer of verse.'
