BiographyHistory

Only months after completing his electrician's trade apprenticeship and getting married, Merv J. Ryan was conscripted and sent to South Vietnam as an infantryman in 1970. After returning home, he fell out of many jobs due to poor health caused by war service. His novel Vietnam Conscript has been adapted into a movie screenplay.
