BiographyHistory

Alex Agelidis was born in Kitros, Piera, Greece and completed his secondary schooling in Katerini, and Athens. In Athens he worked at the Ministry of Agriculture. After migrating to Australia, he worked variously as a factory worker, shop assistant and a building contractor until he gained his draughting licence and opened his own office. Agelidis began writing plays as a student, but did not continue his writing until twenty-four years after he arrived in Australia.
