BiographyHistory

Rachel Percy grew up in the rural Murchison area of Western Australia. She has written a wide range of material, much of it inspired by her life in the bush. Her work includes contributions to the ABC, school broadcasts and journalism. Her book, Fighting the Wild has been reprinted five times, and she wrote the script for the 1978 film version.
