BiographyHistory

Phan Việt Thủy gained a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Diploma of Education., a Diploma of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and a Master of Arts degree and in Australia has lectured in Vietnamese at the Footscray Institute of Technology, Melbourne. He has published also under the pseudonym of Giuong Van Phan and established the Vietnamese Pen Press in Melbourne to publish the works of Vietnamese writers in Australia. In Vietnam, he worked as editor of Song a literary magazine and also Hien Dien magazine. From 1981 to 1984 he served as editor of the Sydney newspaper, The Vietnam Times.
