Tjukurrpa Mangkitjarra : The Story of the Monkey was origianlly produced by Dr Paul White, under the original title " Out on a Limb". With his permission it has been translated into Ngaanyatjarra language of the central desert area of Western Australia.

Ngaanyatjarra is spoken by approximately 1,100 Aborigines.

The translation was done by Maime Nginytja Butler of Tjukurla in Western Australia.
