BiographyHistory

Susan Geason grew up in Queensland and holds a BA in History and Politics from The University of Queensland and an MA in Political Philosophy from the University of Toronto. She has been a Cabinet Adviser in the New South Wales Premier's Department, worked as a freelance editor and writer and from 1992 till 1997 was literary editor of the Sydney newspaper, the Sun-Herald. She received a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Queensland in 2005.

Geason has not only written crime novels, but has also authored crime prevention manuals for the Australian Institute of Criminology. Her work has often been translated into German and French.
