BiographyHistory

Nona Coxhead was born in Melbourne, started school in Australia, but seems to have moved to England shortly after. She lived both in England and USA, before finally moving back to England in 1968. She was a prolific novelist, starting with Though They Go Wandering (1945) and she also wrote autobiographies and books on psychology. As far as is known her books do not have Australian reference and so only her most famous novel, The Richest Girl in the World (1978), is listed on AustLit.
