Yvette Walker holds a BA (Hons) and a PhD from Curtin University.
Letters to the End of Love, Walker's first novel, evolved out of a short story called 'Dear Reader', which won the 2003 HQ Magazine National Short Story Competition.
In 2009 Yvette won the Eleanor Dark Flagship Fellowship for Fiction, has held several residences at Varuna, the Writer's Centre, and was a visiting writer at the Michael King Writers' Centre.
She has also published short fiction in Australian and international anthologies and periodicals. In addition to works individually indexed on AustLit, she has published in The Nightwatchman, the Wisden cricket quarterly.
