Notes

  • This name was attached to the serialised novel 'The Three Waterholes' when it appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald in 1931. Earlier, the manuscript was submitted to the Bulletin competition under the pseudonym E. M. Hosking. Given the guarded nature of the introduction to the serialisation (SMH 11/9/1931 - see abstract to 'The Three Waterholes') It's likely neither of these are the author's real name.
