BiographyHistory

The Queensland Narrating Service was a Brisbane-based, not-for-profit organisation that provided audio materials for people with print disabilities. Volunteer narrators recorded books and other materials onto computer or cassette.

The Queensland Narrating Service was incorporated as Queensland Tape Service for the Handicapped (letters patent, 24 July 1980).

The service voluntarily revoked its charity status in 2021.
