BiographyHistory

Charles Isaac Watson has been described as 'a journalist of the goldfield days'. He established a number of newspapers in regional New South Wales including the Braidwood Daily News, 'the first provincial daily newspaper founded in Australia'.

According to Watson's death notice, he died of 'paralysis of the brain', aged 57.
